Loadouts

First of all, let's talk about Loadouts. In my mind, the player would still have access to create multiple loadouts, but Perks and Field Upgrades would be removed from it and added to the talent tree (more on that later).


Classes

The Game would have 4 Classes: Assault, Recon, Scout and Support, each with different specializations on the battlefield :

  • Assault: Your well rounded soldier.

  • Recon: the Silent Sniper.

  • Scout: The nimble slayer.

  • Support: Big guns, explosives and Field sweeping.

Each Class as preferred weapons, but players can play whatever weapons they fell like playing.


Talent tree

The Talent tree is a little bit special: the talents are grouped in cluster of 4. To unlock the next cluster, players must put 4 points in the previous one. Perks and permanent field upgrades are found here. Some talent for each class could be:

  • Assault: more munitions, more health and perks like Hardline, Fast hand, Scavenger and Extra Tactical.

  • Recon: Hold breath longer, less time between sniper shoot and perks like Spotter, Ghost, Cold-Blooded, Ninja and Focus.

  • Scout: more movement speed, more sprinting time, extra damage with submachine guns and perks like Double Time, Fast Hand, High Alert and Quick Fix.

  • Support: More damage against Kill Streak, more damage with explosives and perks like Strong Arm, Bomb Squad, Battle Hardened, Resupply and Spotter.


It was super fun to imagine a new way to play this fast-paced FPS, and it inspired me different idea that could be put in a game like Call of Duty! Let me know what you think by sending me a message!
